A masterpiece of Mid century Modernism, The Veneklasen House was completed in 1951 by architect Kenneth Lind with Modernist maestro Pierre Koenig, famous for his Case Study Houses (#21 and #22); Koenig put a significant mark on the structure, most notably the living room with its distinctive accordion-fold glass wall. The interior material palette of dark walnut and grey green quartzite is introduced upon entering and continues consistently throughout; the craftsmanship of the millwork, finishes, and features is unparalleled.
