What are the rental fees for Brentwood Park?

Ah, the million-dollar question! Or rather, the significantly-less-than-a-million-dollar question. Rental fees at Brentwood Park vary depending on the space you’re eyeing, the duration of your event, and whether you’re a resident or non-resident. Here’s a breakdown: Grand Pavilion: $200/hour for residents, $250/hour for non-residents Picnic Areas: $50/hour for residents, $75/hour for non-residents Sports Fields: $25/hour for residents, $40/hour for non-residents Amphitheater: $150/hour for residents, $200/hour for non-residents But here’s a pro tip: whatever the fee is. It’s probably less than what you’d spend trying to host the same event in your backyard and dealing with the aftermath of your dog thinking the potato salad was their personal buffet.

How do I reserve a pavilion at Brentwood Park?

Excellent question! Reserving a pavilion is easier than convincing your friends to help you move (and way more fun). You can make a reservation online through the Brentwood Parks and Recreation website, or by calling their office at (555) 123-4567. Just remember, pavilions at Brentwood Park are hotter than front-row tickets to a Taylor Swift concert, so book early! And by early, we mean as soon as you even think about hosting an event. Like, right now. Go ahead, we’ll wait.

Are there any restrictions on activities at Brentwood Park rentals?

Of course there are! This isn’t the Wild West of parks, folks. While Brentwood Park is all about fun and community, there are some ground rules. Here are the biggies: No alcohol without a proper permit (sorry, Uncle Bob) No amplified music without prior approval No commercial activities without a special event permit No motorized vehicles on the grass (your monster truck will have to stay home) No open fires outside of designated grilling areas Generally speaking, if your planned activity involves fire, explosives, or anything that might make the local wildlife question their life choices. It’s probably a no-go. Also, please leave your pet elephant at home. Trust us on this one.

Can I bring alcohol to my Brentwood Park event?

Ah, the age-old question of booze in public spaces. The answer is yes, but with a big asterisk. You’ll need to obtain an alcohol permit from the Parks and Recreation Department, which costs $50 and requires at least 30 days’ notice. Also, keep in mind that glass containers are a no-no, so plan on cans or plastic cups. And remember, if alcohol is allowed, drink responsibly. Nobody wants to see Uncle Bob recreating his college glory days on the monkey bars.

What if it rains on the day of my event?

Ah, the eternal enemy of outdoor events: unpredictable weather. Brentwood Park’s rain policy is pretty straightforward. If it’s a light drizzle, you’re expected to soldier on (think of it as nature’s air conditioning). If it’s a full-on downpour, you have two options: Reschedule your event (subject to availability) Receive a full refund But here’s a little secret: sometimes a little rain can make your event even more memorable. There’s nothing like the shared experience of huddling under a pavilion, watching the rain, and pretending you totally meant for this to happen. Just maybe have a Plan B that doesn’t involve building an ark.

Can I bring my own grill or do I have to use the park’s grills?

Great question, grill master! Brentwood Park provides charcoal grills at all picnic areas and the Grand Pavilion. You’re welcome to use these, but you’ll need to bring your own charcoal and grilling tools. If you want to bring your own grill, you can, but it must be propane-powered (no charcoal grills allowed) and kept on paved surfaces only. But let’s be real, the park grills have seen things. They’ve grilled burgers that would make Gordon Ramsay weep with joy, and they’ve witnessed attempts at grilling that could only be described as culinary abstract art. They’re like the wise old sages of the park. Show them some respect.

Is there a noise restriction for events?

Indeed there is! Brentwood Park wants you to have fun, but not at the expense of every squirrel’s hearing within a five-mile radius. The general rule is that noise should not be audible beyond 50 feet from your rental area. Amplified music requires special permission and must end by 10 PM on weekends and 9 PM on weekdays. A good rule of thumb: if your music can be heard from space. It’s probably too loud. Unless you’re specifically trying to contact aliens, in which case… different department, sorry.

Can I decorate the rental space?

Absolutely! Brentwood Park encourages you to let your inner party planner shine. However, there are some guidelines to follow: No nails, staples, or anything that could damage trees or structures No confetti or glitter (save the earth, people!) No balloons (they’re a choking hazard for wildlife) All decorations must be removed at the end of your event Remember, the goal is tastefully festive, not aftermath of a glitter factory explosion. And please, for the love of all that is holy, no glitter. Future renters (and the entire ecosystem) will thank you.
